Hi! I'm Sloan, and (you guessed it) from Charlotte. Im a teenager, But sometimes I feel more mature than my parents. :) anyway, I absolutely LOVE reading and writing, and am so happy I found this place. Normally Im pretty "up" on things, so the only reason I really wouldn't reply to someone is if I don't have any service, so don't feel bad, cause the hospital gets terrible service. Yeah, the hospital. I'm a cancer patient, as of March1st. It's Mast Cell Leukemia, and is one of the rarest cancers, to the point where I'm the only pediatric case, and I tend to get sick a lot.
Either way, I'm so happy I found this website! Love books, got any good suggestions? I read anything and everything!
-Sloan ;)

Hey Sloan! I share your love of reading and writing! There is nothing better than taking a short escape from life and throwing yourself into a great book! What types of books do you like to read? I love books that touch on historical topics, historical fiction I guess is the technical title! I also love dramas and mysteries. I major in English in college and I love it. We read the classics of course like hemmingway and emerson, but I also have a special interest in African American Women's lit. What do you like best? what types of things do you write?

I write mostly romance (proabably cause I wish I had some for my life!) but I love reading stuff with "historic" touches too

Oh I see! Romance is a top choice for me too, I don't write much, but when I do it becomes a romance story!
