Book Noob, Kyle!

Hi there guys and gals! My name is Kyle. I am sort of a noob to this reading business, thus the subject line. 
Most of my life, when filling out online profiles, I was the guy who would enter "what are books" into the "favorite books" section. I just never understood the appeal. Then, one night I went to see the movie "The Hunger Games." I don't know what it was about that movie in particular, but I desperately wanted to know what happened next when it ended. So I bought the first book I can ever remember buying with my own hard earned cash, "Catching Fire." I enjoyed it so much, that I finished the series, and then moved on to a new one, and a new one, and a new one....you get the picture. Suddenly I got it, it was like I belonged to some secret world in which I had inside information years ahead of those who only see the movies. So now I'm hooked. I decided to join this site so I could maybe even get more hooked!
So this is me:
Kyle from New Mexico. I like reading, playing basketball, video games, and watching movies. I am 28 years old, and I just found my first grey hair...very depressing. I'm single, never married, no kids, but I hope for both soon. Maybe some of that "love at first sight" stuff that you only read in books and see in the movies is headed my way.
I can only hope. But anyway, this is me. It's nice to meet all of you who aren't me.
