Read some threads and very excited

I'm a 26 year old Tim who has never been a part of a book club. I've been flirting with the idea for over a year but have had a hard time finding one in my area which fit my schedule or seemed appealing. Never considered an online book club until today and was about to give up on the search until I found this site. My reading interests tend to shift but some of my favorite titles are Blood Meridian by McCarthy, One River by Wade Davis, Violence by Zizek, The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner and Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman by the guy in the title.
Please feel free to recommend any books you think might appeal to me. I have few friends that read for pleasure and the friends that do tend to read a lot of the same books so my recommendation pool is pretty low.
