Hello everybody,

I'm Magda and I live in Belgium, a small country that you can nearly see at a map ;). I don't really know how to introduce myself but the one thing you have to know about me is that I looooooove reading books like the most of people here :)

Usually I read criminal and horror books (Agatha Christie, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, M.H. Clark...- the famous ones) but sometimes I like to cool down the suspense and read a little love story (Jane Austen, Danielle Steel...) or sci-fi (J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Meyer, P.C. and Kristin Cast... - vampires and other supernatural creatures).

There may be some errors in my posts, I learned english by myself from movies and books. You can tell me if you found some mistakes, this is a really good exercise for me (I try to socialise with people via different websites to learn and get better at speaking english ;)). Another thing you have to know that I speak 3 languages, polish is my mother tongue and I learned french at school. Often I like to read books in english (the original version) and yet sometimes I read in french, mostly love stories, words just sound better that way (don't ask why, it's just my insight ;)). The only reason that I read in polish is that once a year I go to Poland and I buy books at a very good price. ;)

That's me, I'm really looking forward to meet you all (I know that's just impossible but still ;) ).

Hi and welcome to BookTalk. I'm always in awe of people who can speak to many different languages. I visited Bruges a couple of years ago and of course, loved it.

Your English is good. Must be all those English books you read! I hope you enjoy BookTalk and meeting up with people from all over the world.

Welcome to BookTalk.org!

A great way to get better at English would be to participate in some of our book discussions. I hope you give it a shot. :-)
