Hello everyone!

My name is Darcía. I am an author of mystery/suspense fiction. I currently have 3 books published. They are all available on my website, where you can also read excerpts, enter my contests, and browse through my assorted pages of nonsense. :bananadance: The URL is http://www.QuietFuryBooks.com.

All 3 of my books are available on Amazon as well.

I am an avid reader. In fiction, I'm partial to mystery/suspense/thrillers. In nonfiction, I have a huge variety of interests. I will never have enough time to read all the books I own, yet I continue to buy more. I confess, I have a severe book addiction. I'm looking forward to getting to know other book addicts that hang out here.

Heya, welcome. I lived in Pensacola for 5 years, and I know Chris lives in Florida as well. What part are you from?

I live in New Port Richey, the Tampa/Clearwater area. I moved here about 7 years ago from Massachusetts. I sometimes miss New England, though I never miss the winters!

Welcome to BookTalk.org. We're practically neighbors as I live in Largo, but am in NPR just about every day. As you can see we have your Hit List book advertised in the sidebar and on our Featured Book Suggestions page.

Hey Darcia.

Just read the excerpt of No Justice, I like the casual conversational style.

What authors have influenced your writing?

Thanks for the compliment.

I think that, to some degree, I've been influenced by every author I've ever read. James Patterson's early stuff was a big influence. I loved the quick pace of his books, as well as his style of writing. (I haven't felt the same about his later work.) John Sanford and Tami Hoag were always favorites of mine, which I'm sure also influenced my style.

And, Chris, I did see that you've had Hit List on the sidebar. Thank you!
