Other good authors include Dan Brown, J. K. Rowling, ...

Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author; I have read every single one of his books.

Other authors I have enjoyed reading: Barbara Delinsky, J. K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Suzanne Collins, etc.

That is a hard one... so many genres, and I like to read most of them. If forced to choose, I would start with the frollowing list: Crime/mystery - Michael Connelly. Western - Elmer Kelton. Science Fiction - Elizabeth Moon. Historical Fiction - Bernard Cornwell. Horror/supernatural - Dean Koontz. Humor - Gail Fraser (If you haven't read her Lumby series, do so).

Sorry, that's as close as I can come.

I like the Suzanne Collins and its novel The Hunger Games is my favorite book. I saw that the movie with the name of The Hunger Games is also released and i would like to see this first then i will share my views about this film here.

Barbara Kingsolver, Ursula K. Le Guin and Toni Morrison.

J.D. Salinger for Franny and Zooey, Michael Cunningham for The Hours, Andrew Holleran for Dancer from the Dance, Gabriel Garcia Marquez for Love in the Time of Cholera. This is a tough question! But these are the books I keep referring to when asked, so, I suppose that's that. Oh, and Sharon Olds for poetry.

My all time favorite, who has written many books that I've enjoyed is Joyce Carol Oates.

Greg Iles is one of my favourites - he transports me to a different world for each of his books. I love the character of Penn Cage.

CJ Sansom is the best historical thriller writer I have come across - he writes the Shardlake series of books - the lawyer with morals and a big heart. His books are set in the sixteenth century during Henry VIII's reign - love them!

Mo Hayder is a fantastic crime thriller writer too - her best book is Tokyo, in my opinion - so skilled and multi-layered.
