I just finished reading this and really fell in love with it. I'm excited to check out the movie of it this weekend. Any recommendations on Kim Edwards' other work?

The movie was great I thought! I really like how they stayed pretty true to the original story (sans a few things here and there). You should check out Kim Edwards' collection of short stories The Secrets Of A Fire King. I think you'd enjoy

thanks for the rec! i'll definitely check it out. yea there was a few things changed in the movie but nothing too drastic. i love the book so much so it was so great to see if adapted to a film.

I did this one in the wrong order! I saw the movie, but haven't read the book. I usually like to read the book before seeing the movie!

I didn't realize there was a movie. I'll have to check it out. I really loved the book!
