Isn't your anger misplaced? Aren't people to blame for this?

Maybe. But the fact remains a God that is suppose to be all loving and caring would let it happen. That little girl is a sure fire sign no God exists. But then again he killed children in the Bible so this should not come as any surprise.

Yes, people are responsible for just about all the good and bad stuff that happens. That's the point. The irrational athletes who pray to an imaginary being asking for something so trivial as a win, when the very God they're praying to completely ignores the millions of kids starving to death.

Is there a God? To me this is a no brainer.

The fact is that there is enough food in the world to feed the little girl too. During the Biafra famine, tons of aid were shipped but it was appropriated by the Biafran govt. Same in Somalia, Sudan, etc.

For those of us who believe, God create the world as a perfect place to live. We messed it up. If He hit the reset button, the same thing would happen. As long as we have free will, we utimately choose the way of destruction. You want God to be Santa Claus and fix hunger in the world. Should He stop there? How about homelessness? Should He arrange for everyone to have a home? If so, what kind of home. Should people in America have nicer God provided homes than people in Spain? How about homes in America, should people near the ocean have smaller homes than people in Kansas since they don't have the advantage of an ocean view. How about sickness, should God do away with all sickness, especially for children? And death, no one should die right? So how about the very old. Should they continue on living beyond the time when they no longer recognize their families. Maybe God should end the aging process. But if so, how do we keep the world from fill up with people?

The thread you start pulling with your question leads to unexpected implications. As I have said, one day, the Lion will lay down with the lamb, really a misquote of Isaiah 11:6

Your impotent icon allows hurricanes and floods and earthquakes to kill hundreds of thousands. Either he's impotent, or he's a prick. Perhaps the reason is that he's a manmade fantasy character.

Why shouldn't god provide all those things?

Why should'nt god keep our population in check so that we can use the world he created for us without putting any unnecessary tax on any species he also created? An omnipotent god is capable of all this and more with absolutely no effort on his part.

God doesn't do these things because he is a figment of our imagination. If he were real, and still didnt do these things, that means he wants there to be homeless people, killers and plagues. If he did not want them, then they would not be.
