The Washington Post is a leftist rag. It presents "facts" that support the likes of Obama, the murdering Clintons and so on. Quoting WaPo is pretty pointless.

Frank Marshall Davis is the pornographer who was taking nudie pictures of Obama's mother at the time she got knocked up. The pics are on the net if you search for them. Davis was a very public communist, and a pornographer, so Obama's mother had to find another father of record. She settled on Barack Obama Sr and became one of his string of wives. The Obama birth certificate fuss wasn't about place of birth, it was about the name of the father.

And Obama did a wonderful job of implementing his policies. He and his wife hate America, and we're seeing the payoff now. Leftists seem ready to destroy the US rather than abide Donald Trump.

One of the things that constantly amazes me is how frequently I find out information that completely overturns my assumptions. I try to keep a level-headed approach to evidence, but the material presented here by KindaSkolarly about Frank Marshall Davis is to me astounding, suggesting a conspiracy of silence about the identity of President Obama. It is like the Washington Post and its supporters take a policy decision that a claim is so offensive that they will not allow any discussion of it. While such an attitude may be reasonable with a story like Jewish Holocaust denial, the problem is that modern societies can believe myths, and can be highly resistant to exposure of their prevailing delusions.

I see the book on this is at http://www.obamasrealfather.com/ Certainly the superficial physical resemblance is plausible. Add to that the shared skill set and interests and maternal motive and the case becomes stronger. Obama could put it to rest with a DNA test.

What is astounding here to me is that in following the news reasonably closely this is the first time I can recall hearing this allegation. It is like it is so unacceptable as to be automatically filtered out by an informal censorship process. Although I see Washington Post and The Atlantic have covered it.

That is the same issue I see in climate change. The leftist popular front agenda puts the installation of a left wing government as the core goal, and condemns anything that might undermine that strategy, including listening to unwelcome opinion, as consorting with the enemy.

As I explained in the original post, I don't read many history books nowadays. Current events are historical enough to satisfy my need to know about "what happened." And in real time, thanks to the internet.

All we know for sure about Obama is that he's a liar. As far as I was able to determine when I looked at the issue of his legal name, it is still Barry Soetoro. He and his mom legally changed the name to that when she married Lolo Soetoro. A document from a school he attended in Indonesia:

Image

Barry entered the American university system using that name. The complicit American news media later tried to claim that it was only a nickname, but it's not. It's his legal name, unless he went through the legal process of changing it back to Barack Obama. Which he may have done, since he was a lawyer.

And speaking of his legal career, he began it with a lie. On his application to the Illinois BAR he said he'd never gone by any name other that Barack Obama:

Obama's a liar, and a creation of the CIA, and he and the CIA are now working to overthrow the government of the US. Leftists who go along with the plan because they hate Trump are going to learn the hard way about the dangers of identity politics. It the Clinton/Obama crime machine seizes America, the dupes who helped them into power will be the first to be eliminated. Like Hitler with the Brownshirts. Those folks were too stupid to live.

Right. And with all his connections and past experiences he should be able to get this job done before Christmas. :coco:

Just a few of the other conspiracy theories that have been making the rounds since 2008:

Obama is a secret Muslim: This one began right after he took the stage at the 2004 Democratic convention, with chain emails alleging his “true” religious affiliation. The rumor soon found its way onto the popular conservative online forum Free Republic, and took on a whole new life in the years to come. Related: Obama secretly speaks Arabic, attended a madrassa as a kid in Indonesia, referred to “my Muslim faith” in an interview, and was sworn in on a Koran. Steve Brodner

Obama is bringing 100 million Muslims to America:Avi Lipkin and his PR outfit Special Guests claimed to have evidence of a scheme to bring roughly 100 million Muslims from the Middle East into the United States, converting the country into an Islamic nation by the end of Obama’s second term and making it easier to obliterate Israel.

Obama once aided the mujahideen: Harlem pastor and professional race-baiter James David Manning contended that in his younger days, Obama went undercover as a CIA agent to facilitate the transfer of cash and weapons to the Afghan mujahideen in the ’80s, thereby aiding what would become the Taliban.

Obama is in the pocket of the Muslim Brotherhood: Billy Graham’s son Franklin wants you to know that Obama is allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to take over the federal government.

Obama redecorated the Oval Office in Middle Eastern style: Driven by his fierce sense of anti-American interior design, Obama got rid of the red, white, and blue decoration scheme in his White House office.

Obama married a Pakistani guy: World Net Daily correspondent and conspiracymonger extraordinaire Jerome Corsi posted a video in which he claimed to have “strong” evidence that Obama was once married to his college roommate from Pakistan. The smoking gun: Photos of the chums in which the future president is “sitting about on the [Pakistani roommate’s] lap.” Related: For years Obama wore a gold ring on his left hand. Was it his gay-wedding ring?

Obama’s ring has a Koranic verse on it: The very same ring, which Obama now wears as his (straight) wedding band, is allegedly emblazoned with a key phrase in the Islamic declaration of faith: “There is no god except Allah.” (It’s not.)

Obama was funded by a Saudi prince: Another fairy tale courtesy of Corsi: In late-’70s Chicago, Obama secured political and academic funding from a variety of sketchy Arab sponsors, including a Saudi prince. Which may explain why President Obama bowed to the Saudi king when they met in 2009.

Obama was born in Kenya: In early 2008, fringe theorists began a push to prove Obama was born on foreign soil and was therefore ineligible to live in the White House. The theory gained national attention thanks to the efforts of perennial GOP candidate Alan Keyes, “birther queen” Orly Taitz, and Corsi. Related: Obama’s birth certificate is a fake, he killed his grandmother in Hawaii because she knew the truth, sealed access to his birth certificate and other damning documents, and did pretty much everything horrible you could possibly do for the sake of a phony birth certificate.

Obama lost his US citizenship: According to Corsi, Obama became a citizen of Indonesia while he lived there as a child. Steve Brodner

Michelle’s “whitey” tape: During the 2008 campaign, rumors surfaced that a video of Michelle Obama using the word “whitey” would be released to sink her husband’s campaign. It’s never materialized. Related: The time Glenn Beck called Barack Obama a racist.

Obama was a Black Panther: Well, only if you’re not very good at spotting photoshopped images.

Obama is the son of Malcolm X: Because, you know, black people. This charmer popped up on Atlas Shrugged, Pamela Geller’s anti-Muslim website. (Geller is also known for obsessing over Shariah turkeys she believes are destroying Thanksgiving.)

Obama is the son of Frank Marshall Davis: The conspiracy film Dreams From My Real Father espouses the theory that Davis, a leftist activist, was not only Obama’s ideological mentor but his biological father. Related: Obama got a nose job to make his nose look less like Davis’.

Obama’s mom and dad were communists: That would be his real father, Barack Obama, Sr. And you know that communism is an inherited condition.

Obama’s ghostwriter was Bill Ayers: Conservative commentators claimed they uncovered evidence that ex-Weatherman Bill Ayers was the true author of Obama’s 1995 memoir Dreams from my Father. Beyond their shared radicalism, Obama asked Ayers to help because he had writer’s block.

Obama trained to overthrow the government: In 2008, leading Obama conspiracy theorist Andy Martin declared on Fox News’ Hannity’s America that the then-presidential candidate had trained for “a radical overthrow of the government” during his time as a community organizer in Chicago.

Obama on Mars! Wow, that's some wild stuff LevV!

I like the contradictory claims, such as:

Obama is the most inexperienced, weak, and naive President ever!
Vs.
Obama is the Anti-Christ, an Omnipotent Evil Being who will hoodwink the global population and mastermind the end of the world.

Hillary is an asexual ice-queen who has never had sex 'cuz Chelsea was an in-vitro implant.
Vs.
Hillary is a raging hetero-lesbo-nympho who enthusiastically bangs everything on two legs.

Also notice the total absence of accountability. The folks who advocated those conspiracies are drumming up new ones with no harm to their reputation. :chatsmilies_com_92:

Ouch! I've been cut to the quick by the usual surgical debate tools of the leftists.

I post a document showing that Barack Obama's name is or has been Barry Soetoro, and LevV responds:

To be fair, LevV's response was to your rather wild statement "It the Clinton/Obama crime machine seizes America, the dupes who helped them into power will be the first to be eliminated. Like Hitler with the Brownshirts." Such extreme language poisons the well for discussion about more plausible claims.

Yes and mine was primarily in response to a batch of wild conspiracy theories listed by LevV at the bottom of the previous page, not to anything KindaSkolarly wrote.

No, all of this fevered nonsense about Obama's legitimacy doesn't compare in harm to Holocaust denial, but the means by which people are inveigled into belief is the same. What the conspiracy theorists must do is induce an audience to overleap the tall initial barrier of evidence to the claims. After that, it's not so difficult to ensnare them in multiple webs of deceit. With Holocaust denial, the barrier might be the weight of contemporaneous witness to the reality of the Nazi death machine. 75 years on, part of the public has lost contact with that historical moment; it is vulnerable to to manipulation by persons with dark motives. Regarding this claim that Barack Obama was fathered by Davis, unmasking the hoax is much simpler. Since the whole thing begins with these photos supposedly of Stanley Anne Dunham, all one has to do is take in the fact that the woman is not Stanley Ann Dunham. It is a blatant lie. House of cards collapses.
