Re: What's your one-sentence take-away re: the Harrold Camping fizzle
Since A. E. Neuman convinced many people to believe his demented ramblings (none of them were math majors, BTW), my take-away is, "What, me worry?"

I predict the winner of this year’s American Idol will be Haley Reinhart. Since Scotty and Loren are overtly Christian, May 21st will preclude their participation in the competition.
Seriously, this could be another Kool-aid moment.

Re: New publishing. Ebook vs Paper
I would like to hear from some of you old pros out there. If you've been published, which do you prefer? Digital, or paper? Do you see any trends in benefits or any drawbacks to the two methods. Re: Does the lack of a happy ending ruin an otherwise good book?
I would like to know : as a writer, don't you feel the characters have a "life" of their own, and in the end, they may escape your plan? Is the end of your novel just as you planned it at the beginning? The characters definitely have a life of their own. That, I find, is the rush I get fr...

Re: creation of the world.
I know the scientific community is aware and watchful for such an asteroid hitting the earth again, but I wonder, does anyone know how possible it is? What could be done to divert or explode such a large one as hit the earth then? This is the only possibility of a disaster that concerns me. Not tha...
