Just finished reading a few short stories by H.P Lovecraft. I am now reading Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler.
It's a scary night in the lonesome October

Oh dear! I just created a thread with the same name as this one in the Arts and Music and Entertainment forum. I hope I have not committed a misdemeanor.
I just finished reading Venetia by Georgette Heyer.

I often read several books at a time.
Fiction
War and Peace
To the Lighthouse
Swan's Way, and likely more.
Non-Fiction
Open, by Andre Agassi (A slow go. Interesting and boring at the same time, not well written)
A Scream Goes Through the House, Weinstein
The Rest is Noise, Alex Ross
Blue Melody, Tim Buckley

Re: Reading for pleasure! What are you reading now? (Part 2)
I'm currently reading two; 1) A Covert Affair - When Julia and Paul Child Joined the OSS, by Jennet Conant. 2) Voices from the Korean War - Personal Stories of American, Korean, and Chinese Soldiers, by Richard Peters and Xiaobing Li.
The first is very interesting, but so far I'm not sure that Julia or Paul Child are the main characters. The second is fascinating. I've read first person accounts from US KW Vets before, but never anything by Korean or Chinese Veterans.

I'm reading "Fécondité" by Emile Zola. I just started reading it. As with most of Zola's works, I'm looking forward to reading more of this book. He has rarely disappointed me, and has more often than not let me in awe of his talent.

@Lit, did you like "Gilgamesh"? It's on my reading list.
I have just started, "The Garlic Ballads", Mo Yan. Mo Yan won the Nobel Prize for literature. He captures the Chinese culture in an unique way.
