I'm a middle-aged librarian from Missouri. As a kid I read voraciously (almost exclusively science fiction and fantasy), but over the last twenty years or so I've read less and less for pleasure. Over the holidays I picked up a mystery/thriller to pass the time, and it reminded me why I used to spend so much time reading -- even though it wasn't very good.

My new year's resolution is to read every day for pleasure (so far so good), and I found BookTalk while searching for online reading groups to share the experience. I've ILL'd Bad Money, and am looking forward to the discussion.
