Hi every one, my name is Nadeen and I am from Qatar.
I am afraid some of you donot know Qatar or have little information about it.
After all, I joined this forum for two reasons:

first: I would like to improve my 2nd language-English.
Second: I like reading books and discussion

Thank you every one.

Note:please it will take time till I improve my writing skills in English so if you see me writing weird things-like this one- it means that I am struggling to express my point.

Welcome to BookTalk.org.

You're our first member from Qatar so this is rather exciting to me. Please join us on the forums. Look around and find some discussions to join.

Are you a Muslim? Where you born and raised in Qatar? And have you traveled to Saudi Arabia or Iran and other countries in the middle east?

Hey Chris

Yes, I expected to be the first joining this forum from Qatar if not from the entire middle east.
Yes, I am a muslim, and currently I am performing the obligations of fasting.
I was born in Yemen, and I was raised there. I moved to Qatar before 5 years and I am studying Biomedicine at Qatar University now.
I have visited Jordan, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, France but not Iran.

I'm sure you could add quite a bit of experience to our discussions of politics and current events. I hope to see you participating in the discussions in the other forums.

Welcome Nadeen.

Good for you for joining the discussion. Learning a second language can be difficult, and I feel some simpathy for the many learning English in the world. It is not the most logical language.

I hope you will feel free to express your ideas on the world.

Great to see you here...
Not knowing Qatar doesn't surprise me, Qatar is a newly born country, its history is back to the 70s of the last century.

Thank you

Hey, I can see someone else besides me in this forum likes to take the time to format what they type according to importance! Maybe someone I can relate to here :hmm:

Besides GreyIxia, of course ;-)
