Re: What was your college major?
Well, I barely made it out of pre-calc with a C, but if you're good with math, I'm sure you'll do well.
Re: What was your college major?
Currently in college, majoring in education with a emphasis on english. Originally majored in History, till I took a couple of history classes and just hated it. I find english much more interesting. I am retired military, so I am playing catch up with my literary knowledge. Not sure what i may minor in.

I don't go to many or indeed any cocktail parties so I don't have this problem, plus I'm from the Uk so we don't major in much of anything these days Lol. ![Wink ;)](https://www.booktalk.org/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Sometimes I'm a poet, sometime I'm an artist, mostly I'm just a lover of books and the freedom the written word allows people to have whenever or wherever they me be.
I hated school with a passion, was always getting told of for doodling and dreaming so thought it best not to bother with further education. Plus the comprehensive education system is more of a Zoo than an educational establishment so I was glad as hell to escape all general insurrection.
Hi folks I'm new around here.

Re: What was your college major?
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Language Arts Education (Translation: High School English Teacher). My student teaching was miserable, and while I love education and reading and writing, I don't want to pursue the "normal" english teacher career. Who knows what the next step is.

I am an English major with a Religious Studies minor. I still don't know what I am going to do with it and I love English major jokes and stories. I love the English major song from Avenue Q and the whole English major cd by Garrison Keillor. It cracks me up.

Re: What was your college major?
I majored in Business and Administration. I am an accountant.
For the record, there is very little math in accounting. The IT guys do most of the arithmetic these days but there never was much more than first year high school algebra anyway. Accounting is about classifying and summarizing information. I spend most of my days writing explanations of events that people need to understand to make decisions.

I am in college now for my double major in Feminist Literature and Byzantine History, minoring in Philosophy and Koine Greek/Latin
I am going straight through school for my PhD, I know too many people who got a career and never went back and I don't want to do that and regret it later like some people. I am hoping to teach at a University afterward, with the idea that all the Baby Boomers will be retiring around the time I finish Grad School.
