I was freaked out by "Fire in the Sky", and highly disturbed by "Evil Dead 2" when i was young.
Evil Dead 2 is pure awesome by the way. As your attorney, i advise you to seek it out at once.

Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?
Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?

Evil Dead 2 is indeed pure awesome. And Johnson, please tell me that's a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas reference, because that's how I took it, and am laughing because of it.johnson1010 wrote:I was freaked out by "Fire in the Sky", and highly disturbed by "Evil Dead 2" when i was young.

A lot of HST has crept into my vocabulary.
"There's some kind of electric snake coming out of it."
"Shoot it"
"Not yet. I want to study its habits."

"This trip could be very dangerous. As your attorney, I insist that I go with you."
"Why are we stopped? Don't you know this is bat country?"
Totally awesome.

Chucky, damn crazy dolls. Can't be in a room with them!
Also, Arachnaphobia. I've grown to not really care though.

I didn't have a movie like that, monsters weren't usually a problem for me....
I WAS afraid that when I went to sleep that would be it, game over. I had a very serious conversation with my Dad one night asking how they knew there would be enough days to fill up a whole calendar. I took no tomorrow on faith until much later....

I also used to fear that I wouldn't wake up the next day. Sometimes I still do.

I would have to say probably Killer Clowns from Outer Space and It, still can't stand clowns at my age!! Also, Night of the Living Dead, my brother thought he was being nice by letting me stay up with him while he was babysitting me at the ripe old age of 7.

Great discussion! I want to come back and comment on a lot of your posts...when I'm not at work.
I was so small I don't remember the names of two movies that terrified me as a child. One featured a huge spider, and they blew it up with nitroglycerine. I think I was as scared of the people shakey-handedly handling that volatile chemical as of the spider. The other was an Elvis Presley movie with ghosts--I had to walk out of the theater. In high school, and I do remember the name of this one, I was haunted by THE EXORCIST.
