Yes ... well, TV adaptation ... that says it all. I do recall some violence in the book but it was not in too graphic detail.

I was reading a book and it opened on the Kona coast of Hawaii. The author talked about the constant rain, the exotic birds, the jungle. I deleted the book from my Kindle. If I'm reading a book that's set in Omaha and I'm reading about palm trees and surfing, it's history.

I realize there are people who really don't care about details. It's all about relationships. For me, details matter.
