I have absolutely no problem with this because recycling is not the same as burning. The book gets reused through the first process and destroyed through the second so I don't think they are comparable and people should have absolutely no ethical problem with this. In my opinion, it should come down to the user. It really is too difficult to control content these days and penalising websites for the actions of their users should not be the way to go.

I think they are quite effective and quite a good way of promoting your book. YouTube really caters to a massive audience today, an audience who perhaps would just love to find something cool to get them away from their iPads, smartphones and PCs. I think in about twenty years we will see kindles everywhere in the subway for example. There's still some nostalgic feeling that goes along with hardback books but in the future way more people will have discovered the advantages of ebook readers in my opinion.
