Its funny, i bought the book last summer and couldn't seem to get into it. I recently watched the HBO series and now I'm addicted. Looking forward to discussing the book with everyone.

Very interesting book. At times I had to put the book down because of the detail abuse the slaves endured at the hands of there masters. It really gives you a sense of what people who were enslaved went through.

I also loved the twilight series. Another series I like is the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. These book are geared toward an adult reader. Maggie Stiefater writes about wolves and humans (Shiver, Linger and Forever) and Bree Despain, The Dark Divine Series, which my niece turned me onto both.
