Re: Advertising your book
I can't quite bring myself to unpublish my stuff from Smashwords. That's just about the only thing holding me back from doing a kindle countdown deal. Coward. :) And Wizard, by all means, I'm very interested to see how that works out for you. Might be what finally prompts me to give it a shot. Cowar...

Re: Experience with CreateSpace
It can be frustrating and somewhat fruitless at times, but the marketing and promotion for me has been a gratifying experience. Just knowing I have a finished product to sell fills me with a feeling of success. I didn't expect to sell a million copies of my first (and so far only novel) but the way ...

Re: A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire: Book One: Ch. 64 through 73
I found that the more of the books that I read the greater my need to know what happens next, I got so caught up that I read all 5 books over this past holiday season, that was about 4200 pages in 32 days, I was the same! I don't know if I read it all in 32 days but I read it far faster than I norm...

No silent memorial clock for Heller? I'm a bit surprised.

Re: How do you read a boring book?
If its required reading for a class or something like that, I grit my teeth and bare it, and try to pace myself, something like what you said. X number of pages per day. Otherwise, I stop reading and that's the end of it. I actually just returned a book to the library that was boring me to tears and...

I'm having a hard time believing that Simone suddenly developed a conscience after helping plan widespread murder, stabbing a guy in the head, eluding Jack, ratting out her husband, and saying nothing while he was subsequently executed.

Re: 2 Questions about the Holocaust
What I find so odd is that there are so many people today who claim the holocaust is a fabrication. Where is the justification for this claim, and how can such a belief still persist today?

Self-publish a comic book?
Does anybody have any experience with self publishing comic books? Do you know if CreateSpace does anything like that? I've had an idea floating around in my head for about a week now to convert my urban fantasy novel "Line of Sight" into a comic book series, but need to figure out if it i...
