Re: Getting professional reviews - does it help when trying to sell a new book?
Really, it all depends on the audience you're catering it to. Reviews are good for a book, however the impact varies.

Re: When is a strawberry dead?
I don't think it is totally dead. A strawberry is only dead when it gives you a stomachache, it only means that the nutrients that are once in the strawberry are gone. The plant where it came though, it's still alive. Same way with people, we have relatives, friends who may seem dead physically, but...

Re: What Book Changed Your Approach to Life?
Too many to mention, however, just recently I've read How To Save a Life, and it really struck me to the core and made me rethink things.

Re: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
I recently picked it up at a great finds' store of some sort, filled with stuff from way back. It's a good find, the book is very appealing. I haven't watched the movie version though. Would love to see it.

Re: Atlas Shrugged by Ain Rand
The book itself was quite enjoyable. An interesting plot, even more interesting characters, and a lot of moments you really want to reread all over again. Re: New fantasy book, with a unique approach, I'd like to think
This looks interesting. The plot is very unique, I'd love to read what happens next. For a fantasy-oriented story, it kinda lacks some touches of fantasy, but hey, thats just me.

Re: Too many new books to focus on...
I buy 1-2 books every month, and it's hard for me to keep up with the books I buy because not all the time am I free to read books, I have house duties too, so some of them linger on the shelves for a little while. That's the beauty of books though, you can always pick them up when you're doing noth...

Re: Would you read their books after finding THIS out?
Would still read their literary works, in spite of their unusual habits. Also, if that is what it takes to create a literary masterpiece then I may just look for my own coffin lol
