I have to say, I am enjoying this book. I have never attempted to read Don Quixote before and it is nice to know that this translation is well done. The translation can make a huge difference. I think that if it were the wrong translation it may be unreadable. It would be great to read it in Spanish...

I think it is really interesting how Tarnas describes a shift in philosophy. During the Greek period reason and knowledge were both extremely important. And different ideas were embraced. Christianity emphasized faith and there was only room for one idea. It makes me wonder why this shift happened. ...

How about The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night? My sister says that it is really good. It is a murder mystery about a dog found dead and an autistic boy's mission to find the killer. Amazon link below:
