Re: What is your favourite TV-show?
I never watched "Morse," but wish I had. The relationship between Lewis and his partner (whose name escapes me) was what drew me into the "Lewis" series. My wife and I joked that Oxford must be the murder capital of the world. We have many crime investigation shows on TV, of cou...

Re: What is your favourite TV-show?
Favorite current shows: "The Office," "30 Rock," "60 Minutes" (always), "Friday Night Lights", and "Inspector Lewis." Lewis is good! Unfortunately they don't broadcast it anymore here in the Netherlands... but I really like the pace and the stories....

Re: what is your favorite musical?
And wow, a lot of people seem to like Little Shop of Horrors. It's a really unknown musical here! At singing class we did Suddenly Seymour years ago... I think Feed Me Seymour is a lot more fun to sing, although I've only sung along with the soundtrack. It is, I guess, but we girls have to have som...

I forgot the Tudors! That show is supremely well-done (except for all the computer-generated images of old London ). It even made me stand Jonathan Rhys-Meyers for more than five minutes...Jlane5516 wrote:Dexter, Californication, The Tudors, and Glee.

Re: Books and Movies
Why is anything by Jane Austen seen as a must for filmakers to try and recreate? Some Austen films are good... but it's basically the same question as why Jane Austen is seen as a literary heroine... I'm sorry if I'm offending any hard-core Austen fans, but basically it's girl loves boy, in comes t...

Pim Verbeek now, previously Guus Hiddink, maybe we should try Wim Wenders... :( I hear the tulips are beautiful in Apeldoorn . Guus Hiddink is superb! It was so crazy during EC 2008... we had all been celebrating like maniacs when we had defeated France. We have these roundabouts, and we all went t...

Re: what is your favorite musical?
My Favorite musical is Singin' In The Rain directed by Stanley Donen. This was my first musical and i have watched i quite a few times. I absolutely adored it! We have this wonderful little channel called TCM and they show all these great classics... I'd been wanting to see it for a long long time ...
