Re: Tim Burton fan, anyone?

I agree about the Corpse bride and Charlie and the chocolate factory. I did like the visuals in the Corpse bride, but the story, not so much. The nightmare before christmas and sleepy hollow will always hold a special place in my heart.

Re: What would you change?

I would change my teeth. I have sensitive teeth and they bother me a lot. Plus I am at the dentist too much. I just wish I could have beautiful white straight teeth, mine are normal, I guess, but I want superstar teeth! lol.

Re: What Books Do You Dislike?

I can not STAND any chick lit. I read a book by Jane Green and I hurled that thing across the room, it made my blood boil. I don't think I have ever had such an intense reaction to a book before. Stabby.

Re: Alice Chapter One Down the Rabbit Hole

I don't think I started "emotionally" connecting with Alice until I became an adult and developed panic disorder. I liked this story as a child, as one of the posters above said, it's a fun story. When I read it as a child, I could come to the story with a childlike (non panic) perspective...

Re: What song is stuck in your head today?

Well, it is more of a nursery rhyme. I had to do a flannelboard story for one of my classes, and so I have Five little ducks, spinning round and round in my head.

Re: Would you buy a book just because it has won an award?

I would not. I have in the past and I was always disappointed. Perhaps I expected too much after reading the glowing reviews.

Re: Usernames

This is embarrassing but I choose my username because I am a bit obsessed with cake. I actually have daydreams about it sometimes, I used to visit the site Pink Cake Box http://www.pinkcakebox.com/ religiously. Oh no, I have said too much.
