Personally I'm a big fan of referrals and book reviews. I won't buy a book unless I've researched it first and I normally won't read a book unless I own it. Libraries are okay for research but I hate waiting for books to come in and the more popular fiction books are almost always checked out.

I don't see any problem with this new law. Normally you would want the police to check if someone has any outstanding warrants before they are released from jail, and this law just sounds like an extension of that policy. I've always considered myself agnostic as opposed to atheist, not because I believe in god, but because I choose to believe in the existence of a soul.
