Re: Hello!

Welcome Nina! I hope you will have fun discussing with us. I'm very interested in that author's name Anton Chekhov. I have never heard of him before. Which book would you recommend from him? Well, enjoy your stay here at BookTalk.org Inn.

Re: Hi from Spain and enjoy my book "Galleons and sunken treasure"

Hi there VV, Have you yourself tried to find these treasures? What really got you interested in reading, writing about treasures? I'm kind of a treasure finder myself; well, actually, all I do is READ about it, but it sure seems interesting to get into. Have you wrote about any other kind of treasur...

I think I'm going to have to go with The Handmaid's Tale. It does look interesting, and my library has it! LOL! The Tin Drum looks like it's going to be a while to read and to try and understand it fully. The Handmaid's Tale has all three votes from me!

Re: Best Stephen King and Dean Koontz Books

I can't recall ever reading Stephen King or a Dean Koontz book. We have them all here in our library, and I never got the---nerve---to read those books.

Greek or any other kind of myths would be perfect for me. I love reading about those olden times, that could have or could have not put this world around. We learned a great deal about those myths it would be interesting to read it and discuss it with each other and not get graded on it! I love it!

Re: Fiction selections needed for Sep./Oct. discussion

I really hope I didn't start anything. I'm very sorry if I upsetted anybody. A book on religion? Might be interesting. Have to be careful though on the topics that we all discuss. Don't want to hurt anybody on here. But either one of those books is fine by me.

I know you were all joking. I just wanted to express myself about Science Fiction. I kind of get like that. The Tin Drum does kind of cool though.

Re: Fiction selections needed for Sep./Oct. discussion

Jane Austen could actually be okay. But I have never heard of this The Tin Drum. Even Blindness seems okay with me. But please no Beowulf, East of Eden, Madame Bovary, Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Handmaid's Tale. Actually any science fiction would be quite amazing. I loe science fiction books.
