Re: Devout Christianity! Living the Myth!

absolutely correct! Buddhism per se is non-theistic religion. I don't call it religion, its a way of life. science and buddhism can existence hand in hand. thats why i chose to be one. buddha even said to question his teachings before agreeing to them.

Re: Community

I don't really mind.. I like the way people here are so vocal on their " principles " or "belief"-- as what has been said will find the gem of all of this. with an open mind and understanding

Re: A mystery to solve, or the mystery that solves.

I think there's a stone but it doesn't guarantee that it will be forever a stone. you have to consider the five agreggrates of skandhas-- 1) form or matter 2) sensation or feeling 3) perception or cognition 4) volition and 5) consciousness -- that why "Impermanence" is part of buddha's tea...

Re: 1. In The Beginning

I've not found my old copy. I might buy a new one, hopefully a cheap one. Notice the dramtis personae at the beginning of the book-- In the beginning , the cast has been set for the play to begin and let the story march till the end. ( if there's any) :)
