Re: victory for the tea party activists!!

Define out of control. Do you mean with the amount of money he is spending? Well, before he took office, we were involved in Afghanistan and Iraq. It takes money and time, strategically speaking, to leave or complete whatever objective Bush set out for our military men to do. Regarding healthcare, t...

Re: What are you reading right now...

Honestly? I'm reading about Organic Chemistry and Anatomy/Physiology. In addition to writing, I'm considering going into healthcare. I figure it will be good to use my Biology degree and hopefully feel like I'm making a difference at the end of the day.

Re: victory for the tea party activists!!

I find it interesting that so many people bash Obama's healthcare bill because it is increasing our deficit. What about the years we have spent in war? What about all the money we have borrowed from foreign countries so that we could occupy another country? Why isn't the tea party up in arms about t...

Re: victory for the tea party activists!!

Well, I think the unemployment rate doesn't say much to begin with. Like, look at the number of people who probably should have retired, but continue working. That means less jobs available for the recently graduated. Just the other day on the news they said the number of recently graduated college ...

Re: victory for the tea party activists!!

when you start treating me as a woman that I am, which I feel is part of your problem, then I will continue this conversation. I don't care who you are, women were given the right to vote and have plenty to say and are just as knowledgeable as men. When you apologize to me, I will continue our conv...

Re: What is your favourite TV-show?

"The Office" is excellent, but I will always watch re-runs of "Friends" and "Will and Grace." I have several HBO/Showtime favorites: "Weeds," "True Blood," "Nurse Jackie," "The United States of Tara" and "Hung." Can you ...

Re: What sort of fiction do you read?

I feel like I've done my job as a writer when people ask me if there will be a sequel to my book because they didn't want the story to end. If I would rather stay up and read than go to sleep, or if I want to know more after the story is over, it's definitely a good book.

Re: Have any authors participated in/attended Tucson's Festival of Books?

Thank you, and I appreciate anything you can do. It would mean a great deal if I could be one of the authors at the festival. I'm currently located in Chandler, and have another commitment for this Saturday, but I would like to attend your meetings in the future. My series is called "Iron Sight...

Re: What sort of fiction do you read?

Hi Katrinia17, Who are your favorite YA books/authors? If you like YA, I recently published a YA novel called "Wavering" that's available in paperback at Amazon.com, and pretty much any bookstore as long as you request it from the clerk, and both the kindle and nook. It's about sixteen-yea...

Re: Have any authors participated in/attended Tucson's Festival of Books?

Echartonwrites, thank you for responding to my inquiry. I tried contacting the "committee", but I just seem to receive responses from people working the exhibit booths. I only saw a place for nominating authors, and when I added myself in, I didn't see anything for YA authors, so I just ad...
