Re: Hello from BelleS
I took a philosophy course back in college. It was definitely interesting. My husband is actually getting his Masters in Ethics and Leadership. Goes well with the military. Good luck with your studies.

Re: Hello from BelleS
Hello BelleS:) Welcome to the site. Like you, I love reading many fiction genres, dancing, and my dog:) Large dogs like Dobermans, German Shepherds and Huskies are my favorite, but since we move fairly often with the military, our Beagle is more suitable for travel (and great for cuddling). I was pr...

Re: What is your favorite fiction genre?
I enjoy to read novels that have overlapping genres. As long as it is a good storyline, I don't really care.

Re: Libya- Aid to other countries DOES cost money
<t>Well, I wouldn't say I would like less military spending necessarily, but if we're going to complain about helping other countries, then we should be ready to make a sacrifice on our part. Sometimes I don't feel that we compensate our own military men enough. Why should we pay some contractor 3 o...

Libya- Aid to other countries DOES cost money
So many people want to intervene in Libya, but do those people realize that it costs money to do such things? Sometimes I think not. I'm not saying that I am for or against involving our country in foreign matters, but I wish people would realized that our jets, our military, the cost to replace our...

The Gargoyle-Psychological thriller
I am a lover of fiction, so that is mostly what I read (and write). I recently checked out "The Gargoyle" from my local library, and I love it. First of all, it is told in the first person perspective, a perspective I enjoy because it allows the reader (me) to enter into the narrator's min...

Re: Views on novels with female protagonists?
I have to agree with Paca. If the novel is well-written, or at least has an interesting story to tell, it shouldn't matter what gender the protagonist is. I wrote both my Iron Sights:Dance for Me and Wavering novels from a first person perspective and with a female protagonist, and I've had men say ...

E-book publishing Taking Over
I just finished an interesting article in the Delta's Sky Magazine (courtesy of my wonderful and very supportive husband) regarding how the e-books are taking over the traditional publishing industry. Good thing I already have my stake in it! No longer will the big publishing giants be in control of...
