Re: What are you reading right now...
Just finished The Awakening. Now, I need something else to read alongside God Emperor of Dune. I'm giving serious consideration to Melmoth the Wanderer.

Hey, welcome to the site.
I picked up a copy of Mark Twain's The Innocents Abroad last weekend. I'm looking forward to starting it, sometime soon.

God Emperor of Dune and Kate Chopin's The Awakening.

For my own reasons, I'm drawn to songs about hospitals, and sickness, and loss. Other examples would include The Mountain Goats "Matthew 25:21" and the entire Hospice album from The Antlers.

Lyrically: The Decemberists. I love the 19th-century themes that Colin Meloy puts into his lyircs.
Musically: Mumford & Sons. I just can't get enough of the banjo.

Re: What was your college major?
I left college a couple of years back, after I got my Associates' Degree, because some things came up and I needed to focus more on my work than on my education. In the end, I realize that it was a pretty big mistake. Either way, things eventually worked out, and this Fall I'll be attending the Univ...

Hello, from the overcast backwoods of Tennessee.
So, ah... hello there. The name's Chris. I guess I could tell you that I'm new here, or about how much I enjoy reading/writing, but you probably could have figured that out by this being my first post, and my signing up for the forum in the first place. So, I'll just leave you with a simple "He...
