I just finished reading Wuthering Bites by Sarah Gray = Wuthering Heights with Vampires. Has anyone read this? Does anyone have any thoughts on these new novels that put a twist on the classics? I agree with Bill and Nicki. Reading a book is definitely more of an investment than seeing the film version. When you're reading, you are forced to generate your own vision and images. When you're watching a film, the Director and the actors make all those decisions for you. It is a passive experie...

Hi Kurt:

I definitely agree that reading fills a void and satisfies a craving, although I can't describe the way it does. I think maybe it's just provides relief from the stress (or lack of stress?) by disappearing into a story.
