Re: What does your BookTalk.org username mean?

My user name has several conotations. Walkingdude was a character in Stephen King"s novel, The Stand. The character, walkingdude was basically the Devil. I chose the name, not because it refered to the Devil, but because the character was beautifully described and because he was always walking....

If you are interested in reading a book that is well researched and written, and answers your guestions about Smith, then get Fawn Brody,s biography of Joseph, entitled "No man knows my history."

Re: My new book The Metaphysics and Science of Mormonism takes a fresh look at the LDS faith.

Mormonism is very interesting, especially Mormon History. I have written a historical novel entitled Adder in the Path. It deals with the Mormon War in Missouri (1833-1838). Though the book is basically fiction, I have a degree in History and did a great deal of research before writing it. The chron...

Fiction suggestions

My name is Bill Jensen and I am a historical novel junkie. I think that a really good historical novel satisfies two purposes, in entertains the reader, if well written and reasearched and in also enlightens the reader. That is, a good historical novel that is well researched can give a reader the f...
