Just kidding.Hello, my name is Nick. I found this site through InfidelGuy.com and I have enjoyed lurking around your forum. I am an avid reader and have been for while now; I enjoy reading mostly popular science and a little philosophy now and then. I am w/o a god belief and like to think of myself as a freethinker. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and I look forward to talking with all of you.

NickWelcome to BookTalk! Did you see our ad on Infidelguy's site or did Reggie mention us? Anyway...good to have you join us. Jump right into the discussions on the book forums if you like. Now is the time for getting a copy of our next book. The discussion for that book won't start till the 1st of Nov. Jesus Saves! . . . moses invests. Science is neither a philosophy nor a belief system. It is a combination of mental operations that has become increasingly the habit of educated peoples, a culture of illuminations hit upon by a fortunate turn of history that yielded the most effective way of learning about the real world ever conceived. Welcome! It's nice to see that you have a good sense of humor! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if everyone is willing to find out out if you're joking or not! I think that your topic, "Give your heart to Jesus!" is scaring people away from checking out your introduction! We've had a couple of people post to preach around here lately. However, most of us are also freethinkers, like yourself.

Thanks everybody.Quote:We've had a couple of people post to preach around here lately. However, most of us are also freethinkers, like yourself. Yeah, there's the occasional proselytizer that pops up in the infidelguy forum, as you can imagine. They are fun to debate with for a little while, but in the end, the ultimate exercise in futility is to rationalize with an irrational person. Edited by: NicktheNihilist at: 10/26/03 5:57 pm
