Watch in amazement as Joe Barton stumps this liberal elitist dick-hole taster.

Normally I'd take issue with using such phrases as "liberal elitist dick-hole taster" on our forums, but after watching this video I have to agree he really is a liberal elitist dick-hole taster.

Hello Chris:

I was wondering when you would pick that up.

Great clip, even the man behind Barton knew how idiotic the conversation was, he should have bonked him on the head!

My apologies.

I was trying to embody the bold leap of immaculate perception demonstrated by Mr. Barton.

This is a man who does not need things explained to him by people who went to "School"!

Supposedly Barton really thought he stumped the scientist. Is there a post somewhere showing Barton further making an ass of himself? Did he post it on his own web site?

I didnt hear anything more about this incident, although rumor has it he posted this vid to youtue hmiself claiming it as a victory.

I did see another video where Al Gore is talking to him about climate change and used an advanced conversation technique called a "Metaphore". I guess those are popular in places that value fancy book-learnin. Barton chased the thread of literal interpretation of the metaphore, like a kitten chasing literal thread, and derailed the discussion.

You can't help but be impressed by some of the people who gain positions in the government.

He seems to put his public interventions on his website, but I don't know whether you can see all of them.

Among other things, they also inform you that Joe reads a lot, and you can share his readings:
What Joe's Reading: CongressmanJoeBarton.newsvine.com
Every morning when Congressman Barton walks into the office he is handed a large stack of “clips.” These are articles complied from newspapers and magazines from all over the country. Now you can check out – What Joe’s Reading. Every day it will be updated with some of the same articles handed to Congressman Barton – so please check it out on a regular basis.
This is going to be my new resolution for the month of May: check what Joe is reading at breakfast every morning.
Ophelia.

That was great! It reminds me of a political forum I attended in my county. One of the politicians pointed out how global warming is not happening because the temperatures in our county have been rising! LOL I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry. He has probably never left ou county so it is the globe to him! I wish I had a clip of that. Actually...it was recorded...I wonder if I can find it...
