Uhm, I am from the south coast of England I am 24 and here I am!
Right now I'm reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, but I'm going through a book block so I'm reading really slowly. I like quite a wide range of books I'd say... but stay away from chicklit and anything to do with vampires.
I enjoy reading YA still and my favourite author probably of all time is Diana Wynne Jones who I first read when I was nine. Although in the past year I have not read so many. I have moved into crime and historicals lately and next year I want to read more YAs again and also concentrate on some classics.
I have loved Dickens, Gaskell, Dumas, Dostoyevsky and wish to explore those authors further along with many others!
I adore Harry Potter, not interested in Twilight...
These are some of my favourite books all of which I'd award five stars:
I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith
Howls Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones
Dogsboy - Diana Wynne Jones
North and South - Elizabeth Gaskell
All Quiet on the Western Front - Erich Maria Remarque
Harry Potter (specifically 1, 3 and 5) - JKR
The Stand - Stephen King
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson
The Four Last Things and the other two in the Roth Trilogy by Andrew Taylor
