Hello to everyone. As you can imagine, the winters in Minnesota are a perfect 'excuse' to read (not that I need an excuse), so I thought I would join like minded people and get new ideas for books. I read at least one book a week, so I look forward to finding out about new books.

I've just recently learned about websites like www.goodreads.com (the one I use). I've found it to be a good source for new ideas for books, and it helps me keep track of what I'm interested in reading.

I am here in South Dakota and we have sooo much white stuff here that it's hard to believe we will ever see the grass again. When I am not working on my Master's and reading boring assignments in text books, I love to read and try to remember why I live in this part of the country. I do admit to liking to read while it snows and am thankful I don't have to go anywhere.
