A Great Improvisation

Reading this very interesting book by Stacy Schiff about Ben Franklin's diplomatic mission to France during the American Revolutionary War.

I have always been interested in Revolutionary America. I recently read Citizens: A Chronicle of the French Revolution by Simon Schama and now I am fascinated by the connection and parallels between the two revolutions.

I am only on chapter 2 but so far this seems not only informative, but stylistically much better written then the average history book.
