Hey Sofia,
good choice not to resist the link. =) There are many nice topics and books to discuss in this forum. I'm quite new myself and really like it here because you can also discuss 'light' topics like favorite films or other topics when you're in the right mood for it. That diversity is really nice.

The "thank post" you see can be used when you enjoy someone's posts. For instance, if you read something posted by a member that provided some great information, or expressed a veiw on a topic that pleases you, you can thank them for it by clicking on the thank you button. If you look at the info under each members name, you will see how many times they have been thanked, and also, how many times they have given thanks. It's just a way of giving appreciation.
