I'm not a big fan of Stephen King, but I have enjoyed his more conventional novels, such as Dolores Claiborne, Misery, The Body (made into the movie Stand by Me), etc. So I recently purchased his latest, 11/22/63, for my Kindle. I'm about halfway through and am enjoying it so far.

Oops, damned thing is signing me out every two seconds. A recurring problem, I'm afraid.

I've heard good things about this one. Then again, I like King's work, even the formulaic horror stuff. What can I say?

I'm reading Tale of Two Cities. I wanted to read Dickens for Xmas - it wasn't the Dickens I wanted (I wanted Little Dorrit), but it was cheap and available (insert joke here).
