Hi there from a village deep in the heart of England...

Unread post

Hello everyone,

I'm an avid reader using paper, ebooks (via the kindle app on my phone) and unabridged audiobooks (via my iPod). I love a variety of styles of books but suspense thrillers are probably my favourite - Dean Koontz and Stephen King in particular.

I'm also a family man and have taken on the (challenging) role of promoting my daughter's novel. To be fair she hasn't the time since she is taking a break from teaching to do a full-time MA in Creative Writing - her first workshop was yesterday.

Amanda,

I've got quite a lot of favourites. I'm currently reading 11.22.63 by Stephen King (by unabridged audiobook on the way to and from work) and it's got to be one of my favourites by him. I also really rate The Stand.

There are lots I like by Dean Koontz - The Watchers was very good. I must admit that I've found some of his more recent books less exciting - probably because there's less of the weird and paranormal in them.
