Just sort of wandered in

Unread post

I'm a reader and writer and I just found this site through a recommendation! I flicked through and you all seem lively and engaged with books - so I'm in the right place.

I live in the United Kingdom and, having lived for err...a bit of time, I'm now writing. I have a non-fiction book out (Digital Downsize) about the social and psychological issues concerned with digital technology: behavioural change, social isolation, addiction and so on (it is not about becoming a luddite - just more aware and creative about how one uses tech).

I also write fiction, drawing on my experiences of tragedy drama, adventure and irony (oh and the frustratingly mundane). I hope to comment in a few areas.

sounds fascinating and relevant, the pace of change is fast and thinking that helps us get a perspective on how some of these fast changes may impact us seems to me entirely helpful, and much needed.
