Congrats Cattleman! That's a long time. I'm not so much excited for the wedding. Actually I'm nervous as hell. I hate being the center of attention. Lol. However, I love my fiance very much and he is such a commitment phobe that I never thought we'd get married. It's still amazing to me that he actually asked me! Lol.

Death lies on her like an untimely frost

How about what made the last two weeks good? I had my daughters to visit and hadn't seen them in three years.

Boy oh boy! Some of those posts are hard to top. I already know I can't top a birth of a new healthy life....BUT....
I was at St Petersburg, FL beach today. It is always fun to see people having a good time, and it was my sole reason for going. I love soaking up the vibes of happy vacationers at play. It inspires me when I come home and sit down to write...always.
Today I was disturbed a little as I watched people wading in the azure water, but not frolicking. On rattan mats and extra blankets no longer suitable for full time use on the bed, beautiful bodies absorbed the sun's rays, turning skin golden shades of attractive. Good as they all looked, they looked good enough. There was inattentiveness going on that struck me head on, because in the sky above them all, totally unnoticed, was a biplane doing aerial acrobatics in the cumulus clouds. It was quite high, but shooting out of the clouds into the clear blue sky trailing smoke, spinning, causing the smoke to spin with it. The plane climbed into an arc that ended upside down. The pilot got trickier, and he continued to dazzle me. But I was the only one dazzled, because nobody else even looked up! By now I was walking along the beach looking up, and I became the one who was inattentive. I no longer watched the people not watching, and watched all by myself. Because of that, I bumped into a fisherman that I didn't notice. The fisherman turned to me to say something, so I tried to explain myself by pointing up to the sky. "Are you seeing this?" I asked. "Not really, but hi John!" he said. I focused in on the man I bumped into, and it was a friend I hadn't seen in a year! That's what made today good.
