Germ terror is being used to infantilize us, so that governments can pass abusive legislation. The US had great success doing that after 9/11, and now ALL govts are being given a chance to take away their citizens' rights. We're being prepped for the one-world banking government that the man in the video below talks about. His summary from about the 9:00 minute mark to the end is very good. All of the big-name communists, socialists and fascists in world history were pikers compared to the high rollers currently at the table:

We have a new Chinese-made virus that's bad, but it's just another virus. You've been spooked with stories of horrible deaths, but what death isn't horrible? Once the US govt finishes writing a blank check for the Federal Reserve, the pandemic will fade and we'll move on to another manufactured crisis.

He also changed the name of the virus from "Wuhan virus" to "Covid-19" after a 20 million dollar "donation" from the ChiComs.

A Death Sentence, For Your Own Protection
"As these words are written, governors throughout America have issued orders (without resort to any statutes or legislation) shuttering thousands of businesses and terminating tens of millions of workers. Some 70 million Americans are now imprisoned in their residences, needing government permission even to walk to a park. Re: Coronavirus
So, I posted and ran because my phone vibrated and I took the call.
KS is a freak who should be banned from this site. (Just my recommendation)
The libertarian issue stands to reason. @ Interbane: there should be no uncertainty about your thoughts on this, It’s not a GOP thing or a Democrat thing. Libertarianism does not have a political party, it is broadcast room economics.
We are witnessing PSfB being pushed to respond to a genuine dilemma, what other outcome should we expect? . Conservatively we can side with some pretty drastic actions, but I question whether we are pushing the limits of the bill of rights.
I’m less interested in how regionally we are dealing with this because it will be dealt with. (Not to sound cold, just to write that we will all suffer) .
I do not think that what we are a part of has any historical precedent. Even during the guilted age when the leisure class thrived, there was substantial steerage class passengers. No, this thing (covid-19) its unique in that its spread is directly attributable to tourism and business travelers.
There’s no algorithm for this. PSfB represents the leisure class, his lackeys represent the same.
The general public is going to pay the bill in the end and you’re correct, to much wasting of time can be considered a GOP fault but lately what isn’t?.
I’m kinda a social distanter by nature (bit of a misanthrope I am) but that doesn’t falsify my logic. Some middle class person goes to a traditional market, a market that lacks hygiene standards, that middle class (perhaps Chinese) returns to their home life and job, passes on a virus to an associate and so on and so forth. A traditional whim, a butterfly effect and the world is in pandemic. Globe Trotting trolls, libertarians, the leisure class.

Re: Coronavirus
Changing the HCID designation merely acknowledges Covid-19 does not have a death rate as high as Ebola, MERS, and some other diseases. They also state "the need to have a national, coordinated response remains," including the following.KS wrote:Covid-19 is no longer a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK (but the BBC neglected to tell people that)

- Stay at home
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
- If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
- Do not meet others, even friends or family.
- You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
Unfortunately that reporter joins KS in going way off the deep end, ranting about the end of money and the establishment of World Communism. He comes across like a calm version of Alex Jones, the same delusions with a British accent but without the table pounding, crying, and screaming.

I think what concerns me the most is the spread of the virus from surface contamination.

This makes the math even more amazing.ant wrote:I think what concerns me the most is the spread of the virus from surface contamination.
Health Feedback is also a good site to check frequently:
Symptoms might not appear for up to 14 days. After symptoms appear, people may not acknowledge it or contact the hospital for up to a week. And because 81% of cases are mild, some might not consider themselves hosts at all. This is purely speculative, and you can ignore me, but it seems like in some communities, the virus has existed for at least a few weeks in mild cases before there is one severe enough to warrant attention/testing. Not all, of course, but some. And perhaps not now, after everyone is hyper-sensitive to it. But a week ago? Two weeks ago? I'm more confident in this claim - it has been circulating in some communities for weeks before someone gets moderately sick. Then once sick, the tests take up to a week to get results.
Although some tests show the virus staying on surfaces for 100 hours, contagious quantities are about 3 days in some cases. Plastic keypad buttons on credit card machines at the gas station, for example.
It makes sense that it's been spreading in communities for a month(and possibly more) before the first case pops up on the statistics charts. Which means, it's been spreading that entire time unnoticed. I said "some" communities. Not the majority I hope.
The hidden number we don't have is how many are truly infected. I think it's a staggering amount. With so many infected yet unconfirmed, the actual mortality rate isn't as high as we think. But hospitals will be overwhelmed because of how contagious it is, and how long it goes unrecognized.

Re: Coronavirus
I think this is at least an important part of the story of why the spread has gone on so effectively in the U.S. It explains a lot about New Orleans and probably a lot about New York.Interbane wrote: Symptoms might not appear for up to 14 days. A well-planned response would have been able to roll out testing kits pretty early, but maybe not early enough to isolate all the cases which had spread under the radar. Still, what China achieved suggests that it would have been worth the chance.

I first heard the above when the first breakout in King County Seattle happened.
In late February I was following it closely because I had a 4 day trip to Seattle scheduled for the second weekend of March. I had planned the trip the first week of Feb, a few weeks before this all really started to become the nightmare its become.
King County was confused as to how the virus spread to the care facility that lost over a dozen (?) older folks to the virus. No one had contact with the facility from the cruise ship or to their knowledge traveler(s) that had recently been to China. Early March health officials in the area speculated the virus must have been dormant in the area for weeks prior to the first diagnosis. Some estimates were as far back as early January/ late December 2019.
That's pretty effin scary.
I made several futile attempts at canceling my flight and hotel reservations. It wasn't till the CDC declared COVID 19 a pandemic that Travelocity gave in and got me a full hotel refund and an airline "wallet credit" good for one year.
Side note:
This morning I was successful at getting toilet paper at Target.
I had to get there early and stand in a line, but I got some!
Life is good today.

Re: Coronavirus
Here is a detailed plan for Covid-19 response and a roadmap to reopening. Unfortunately the US is not doing what is required during Phase 1, slow the spread. And we are nowhere near a position to consider Phase 2, reopen state by state.

Each state should have discretion though I'd think.
