My favorite is something I've not had since a child. My grandmother made a cake that had plums or something in it. I'm not too sure. It was cake on top and bottom with sugary plum type filling in the middle. Nobody knows what it was she made, but I've not had anything so good since the late 1970s.

Now that I live where they don't know how to make them, a Philly style steak and cheese sandwich is the thing I have been jonesing for for a while now. Just because I miss them so much.

I know this will sound like a lie, but honestly? A fresh salad. Made by me, of course. With a little honey-balsamic vinaigrette and lots of seeds, it doesn't get better than that. - Gustavo Woltmann
I'll boldly say it's pizza. Because I've loved pizza since I was a kid. Now we cook together with the kids, yet homemade pizza is much better. We cook according to the recipe from an Italian restaurant, it turns out great.
Being a Texas good ol' boy, (born and raised) I can only say - Chili. Perfect on a cold winter day, but equally delicious when the temperture is nearing the century mark (Fahrenheit).
