We need one or two people to lead this discussion. Anyone interested?Chris "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them"

Re: Would anyone like to be the discussion leader for this b
I would like to.I've really been wanting to read this book and I think that there is plenty of room for discussion. I'm nearly through chapter 1. I may not be able to post daily, but I should be able to post at least a few times a week and generate some discussion. If that's good enough to be a discussion leader I'm up for the task. Cheryl

Eric Stamper and I were also planning on volunteering to be discussion leaders, but apparently we were a bit slow about the actual volunteering..So if you wanted 3 discussion leaders, we'd be happy to help out. Otherwise we promise to try and be model posters Nicole

As Nicole indicated, I would be interested in sharing the role as discussion leader for this book. There has already been a great amount of discussion taking place in the weekly chats. I think this book will have quite a few readers and will have some conroversial issues that will make for great discussions.Eric Stamper

Ah, I will gladly take back seat to you two if you want to lead the discussions. I intend to participate and may generate some conversation, but because of my limited posting and chat time you would probably be better to lead it. Cheryl

Re: Would anyone like to be the discussion leader for this b
Cheryl and I just spoke on the phone and we agree it might be better to have Eric and Nicole take the lead with this book. They're both very active and involved in the ongoing discussions.Of all the books we've read this one might be the most relevant to our mission, and having frequent participation by the discussion leaders is vital. Not to mention the fact that we will be seeking media exposure for the Shermer chat.Cheryl has assured me she will be reading and participating in this discussion...and knows she will be beat if she doesn't. So Eric and Nicole are our discussion leaders for, "How We Believe."Again folks, please order the book through the Amazon.com links. 10 people have done so and I would give you all a big hug if we were in person - or a Wet Willie(TM), whatever you prefer.Chris "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them"

Thanks for agreeing to Eric and I as discussion leaders. We would have been very happy for Cheryl to join us, but even being a frequent poster will certainly be appreciated regardless I've read about 4 chapters now, and am really finding it difficult to put the book down. Most of the topics look to be accessible regardless of how far along someone is (or whether they are reading it at all, although of course, everyone will be ). I'm really looking forward to our discussions Nicole
