The Namesake

Unread post

I just saw the movie The Namesake. I really liked it though I thought it was a bit too long.

One of the main characters favorite writers is Nikolai Gogol. I had forgotten how much I once liked Gogol.

(It was certainly nice to see a character movie without violence and cursing.)

The movie inspired me to reread some of Gogol's wonderful stories.
