Hello Corinna,

I haven't read this book but I've just had a look at what was said at amazon.

Would you like to tell us why you like this book?

I'm just thinking here . . . was that the story of the two people in the nursing home - they fought a battle to live on their own?

I think I did read it a long time ago.

I read Franny and Zooey years ago and loved it. Of course, having read and laughed over Holden Caulfield and Catcher in the Rye earlier, I was already a fan of J. D. Salinger. I hope you enjoyed Franny and Zooy and go on to more of Mr. Salinger - A Perfect Day for Bananafish, Nine Short Stories, Raise High the Roofbeam Carpenters . . . not a prolific author, but one of our very best.
