Hello my name is Craig and I will be receiving my degree in mathematics in the spring of this year. As for myself I am an avid reader and have a wide interest in various types of books. I have many books on the history of mathematics as well as the philosophical implications that the study of mathematics has brought about. For lighter reading I enjoy Anne Rice very much and loved the Dune series. However my interests currently are directed towards classic works, of which I have read Paradise Lost, Utopia, and Crime and Punishment since the beginning of this month. Thats pretty much all i have to say right now.
Welcome to BookTalk, Craig! The only Anne Rice book I've read is Violin. It was pretty interesting. I've been meaning to pick up another of her books but just haven't gotten around to it. If you have one or two to recommend, I'd appreciate it. I mostly read nonfiction science, but squeeze in some fiction every once in awhile.

I started with Blood and Gold then went to Interview with the Vampire and the rest. My favorite one of Anne's books is The Vampire Lestat. I was wondering, however, if you have read any kind of classic book like H.C. Anderson or the Brothers Grimm? My family is full of literary incompetency and doesn't know that the original Little Mermaid is a story about love and suicide. -_-;
