yes I saw that and I responded to the post. I haven't read that yet and I would like to.
I have seen that you can't send PMs until after 25 posts, but it is strange that you can't select your gender.
I am busy on the farm but at night things are quiet and I can't go to sleep without reading at least a chapter or two, and I can't believe that I am going to admit this... but I PANIC if I leave the house without a book. I read anywhere and everywhere. I try to turn waiting time into reading time.

YES-- same with me-- maybe we have to be members for some time before we are able to edit such things?? I wonder.......

I don't think there is any wait time on changing your profile. Have you clicked on the word Profile that appears at the top of the screen, just under the green bar -- under the word BLOGS? That shoud bring you to your own profile, where you can edit and add information.

yes that is where I go, but there is nothing to change my gender. I would also like a USA flag but I can't seem to find a way to put that on. It is rather frustrating since I am always really good with boards and online stuff.

I think when you click on the map and put in your location, but I tried it and I am not sure that it worked.

Welcome to BookTalk.org.

The map is not part of your profile. As someone else instructed above you can access your profile by clicking on the word "Profile" at the top of the page directly below the green link bar.

I will personally go edit your profile now, but please click on profile because there are some cool things you can do in your profile, such as ad a signature. You do have an avatar so you have indeed been in your profile, now that I think about it. So you're simply overlooking the place where you edit your gender and flag. Scroll down once in your profile.

Well there it is. The whole profile bar and all the info under it was missing every time that I clicked on it. Now it is there. How strange. Thanks for fixing it! Sorry to bother you with such silliness!

I didn't fix anything. I'm not sure what was happening before, but I'm glad you're able to access it.
