Seespotrun: I would be interested in reading Barack Obama Dreams of my Father.
I finished this yesterday. If you want my opinion, it'd be a fine selection. Made me proud, in fact, that we have such a thinking President-elect, and such a good writer. It might be a good book for us, too, in the sense that we don't go into race and identity much on this site. Maybe we tend to be pretty whitebread as a group?

The Wealth of Nations is indeed far too big for BookTalk.org. Anyone wanting to read and discuss this book is welcome to do so in the Additional Non-Fiction Book Discussions forum, but we would have a fizzled out discussion after a few weeks if we attempted to tackle this one as an official discussion. From what I see on Amazon.com it is 1264 pages. This is more than 2x as big as we should consider. Even a 600 page book is pushing the envelope.
