I'm a student from Brisbane, Australia.

I used to write and read constantly a few years ago, so I thought I'd enjoy studying literature at uni. Big mistake, I haven't picked up a pen or book for almost 2 years now.

Once I realised this, I switched degrees to my other interest: Human Movement Studies.

That was a year ago and I still haven't read a book through, so I thought I'd come here for some motivation.

My favourite authors are:

Tom Wolfe
Jack Kerouac
Fyodor Dostoyevski
Truman Capote
Eliott Perlman
Ali Smith
Anthony Burgess
Margaret Atwood

Pushkin
Bukowski

Oh yeah, I'm a Salsa dancer.
My avatar is one of the lifts in our latest routine.

Welcome to BookTalk.org. What is human movement studies? I assume from your username that it is something related to exercise physiology.

Yeah, it's basically exercise physiology, sport psychology and history.

My username probably doesn't suit a book discussion site, but I like just having one online identity.
My name's Josh, so you can use that.

I'm glad you decide to pursue a field that excites you. Years ago I was heavily into weight-lifting and very soon I'm going to try to get my fat ass back in the gym.
